sorry for the long wait! school is KILLIN me already. lots of team work means lots and lots of team meetings. i am like, totaly barely getting to work even. bad, bad , very bad. but this is a three day weekend, so i started it off right!
i went to the hofbrauhaus on friday night with my new bright blue tights, new heels, and polka dot shirt on and had a great time drinking large mugs of beer. then home again home again, sleeping till 11 and then having a bunch of breakfast at my friend annie's downstairs. boy, did i look classy. i wandered downstairs (annie invited a bunch of people for brunch, just a little backstory) in my pajamas pants, fleece, and slippers (this had been okayed by the hostess) without combing my hair, bushing my teeth, taking a shower, etc.
i opened the door and felt as if i have walked into an eddie bauer catalog shoot. oh, hello hailey. what beatiful shining hair you have, and look at those mary jane heels! they go so lovely with your sweater and necklace. and immaculate make up. oh, jake and traci! did you plan to coordinate the perfect match of flirty female and alpha male looks? what's that? oh, it's just natural. a sidenote: basically, 50% of men at the party were wearing suit jackets with scarves, the other 50% were wearing sweaters. as was classmate jessica---she has these white sweaters...oh i love those cable knits.
what was i wearing? oh yeah. cat hair. lots of it.
to cover up my embarrasement, i immediately related the fun new story of a pornographic picture getting loaded onto my facebook profile album. ha ha! man i'm classy. (if aaron has not told you this one, be sure to ask. oh, it's priceless.)
well, i went upstairs, did like 8 loads of laundry, and went to bed again. i cleaned ONE LONE ROOM on my list of rooms to clean (more fun to check off individual rooms instead of cleaning all day and checking off "clean house." instant gratification? also on checklist.) then we took our friends paul, noah and dana (our cat sitters) to dinner at a peruvian restaurant and i enjoyed my first plate of ceviche. yummy.
today i have to complete some work for my business ethics class and have a 3 hour meeting for our organizations and structures class, where we are playing the part of consultants but with REAL ORGANIZATIONS. yesss.
what's up for the rest of the weekend? more cleaning. and applying for the perfect npr job. any tips? let me know.

I found your slippers particularly fetching. (really, I did- those slippers are awesome, and I would be tempted to wear them all sorts of outside-the-house places.)
