I am a Cat Owner. These are my new friends.

A Cat's Recommendation

My human use a product from Arm & Hammer called Cat Litter Deodorizer (or something along those lines). It comes in a tall orangey box (just like the baking soda) with a shaker on the top. This stuff works wonders on my cat box. My human only use a little and mixes it into my litter and it really works great to kill the odors.
Give it a try.

First Day of Skooool!

Okay, actually Wednesday was the first day of school. But today was a REAL DAY. Let us start about 24 hours ago...

Wednesday night, 6:00-8:40 p.m.
Accounting for Managers. Was volunteered by the professor to be a person that hypothetically hates algebra. Wow. Psychic. Answered slightly algebraic questions anyhow.

Wednesday at midnight:
Packing bags for swimming and running the next day. Packing books for next day. Pack food? Water? Nah.

Thursday morning, 5:00 a.m.
Is it time to swim yet?

6:00 a.m.
Is it time to swim yet?

6:52 a.m.
Well, I might as well just get up.

7:10 a.m.
Really? All the public parking spots are already taken? Seriously?

7:22 a.m.
Swimming 50 meters at a time, for a total of 800 meters.

9:00 a.m.
Leadership and Organizations. Lots of rambling from professor, although he was quite kindly and such.

11:00 a.m.
Chat with mom. Purchase $70 worth of groceries.

Noon
Unpack. Head to school.

1:00 p.m.
15 minutes of discussing the syllabus for Arts and Education.

2:00 p.m.
Running with Shannon. Taking it slow for the knee and such.

5:00 p.m.
Learn that PR and Internet Marketing actually starts at 5:30 p.m.

5:30 p.m.
Internet Marketing and PR. Duh. Help create a negative spin for Britney Spears. Um, easiest thing in the world.

8:00 p.m.
HOME. SLEEPING. PETTING CATS. Making a small list of things to do.

TOMORROW: Using info from PR class at work. Attending last class, Business Law. Whoot Whoot.

working sleeping drinking talking

To my brain cells:

I know I have been abusing you. I apologize.

To my knee:

I know you are upset with me, I'll try to take it easier on you.

To my mouth:

I like what you've been doing lately.

To my hang nails:

What will it take to make you go away?

To my responsibilities:

Ditto.

A Perfect Sunday.

Wake up. Say hello to cat. Make coffee.
Watch a bit of cartoons.
Turn on some Golden Girls and sort through CD collection.
Merge/Purge Spring quarter notes and papers.
See Annie's cute new dress.
Go on slow run with Mags in blistering heat.
Make rhubarb strawberry pie (similar to photo).
Make keish with leeks, spinach, canadian bacon.
Share bottle of wine and talk talk talk with Annie and Mags.
See the movie "Once."
Realize that your condescending tendancy to compare your own artistic talent to those in the film is brewed from jealousy and slight boredrom/lack of creative moments.
Be okay with that. Or at least realistic.
Come home. Have beer. Go to bed early so you can get up and go swimming.
Reflect on Perfect Sunday.

Ruth and Tim own mammals.

Creamy Mimi and Bird. Welcome to our home.

Bird is hiding somewhere in the apartment (Tim has confirmed she is still under the bed).

Creamy Mimi is rubbing her head and body over everything in the apartment, including our feet when Tim and I went to bed last night. Creamy Mimi liked to really plow her head into said objects so it sounds like this:

Pretty cute.
