Home again home again.

The bigger, the better

jiggity jog. tim and i made the treck via train, feet, blue line train, plane, and automobile from Cincinnati to Fargo, with a lengthy enjoyable stop in Minneapolis for Stine Family Christmas. Funniest part of the weekend? Up for contention:
Doug (Tim's Dad): So Scott, what are your goals for 2008?
Scott (Tim's brother): Well, I don't know. Right now our number one goal is not to get pregnant.

Right on, brother. Liz Stine and I saw a Frida Kahlo exhibit and I avoided my old roommate, but left the Walker feeling like I had just listened a Mahler symphony in its entirety, finished popcorn and watched Amelie for the first time, and also maybe ate some delicious milk chocolate along with a cup of hot chocolate made from 2% milk. Ephemeral?

Right now, the focus is on the future. The future of my sister's family, that is. Enjoying the vocalizing of baby Ben (pictured) and the short attention span of 3.5-year-old Leadh who easily succumbs to I, the master of distraction. Snowy pictures are coming!

Ben is vocalizing!? Yes!
I mean, I will sure miss his monkey like screams :)

See you on Sunday!

Yeah, that word is VOCALIZING, not SPEAKING, Kate sweetie. Unfortuately, the monkey screams are still present, along with a whole menagerie of other animal calls. Just wait.
