A definition of Ruth. (and a story about cats)

I put this up on Urban Dictionary last year and forgot about it. Then Tim and I looked it up today and were both like, hey, this sounds like you! Oh, wait. You posted this. Whatever.

p.s. while writing this post, my friend mary came up and said hello and i didn't shut the door behind her properly. mimi (my cat) slipped out the door! mary and i stalked the halls of the roanoke and even checked under bushes outside. i came upstairs to grab a coat, and birdie (my other cat) greeted me with very worried meows. where's mimi? birdie cried. she's NOT IN THE APARTMENT! i know birdie, i said in soothing tones. thankfully, after the outdoor search, mary and i walked around the building and all of sudden, mary cried (and pointed) "there she is!" for a moment, i thought it was an ill-timed joke because she sounded so excited. but no! mimi was upstairs looking at us. we walked up and she bolted for our door, and when she walked in, birdie gave her an impetuous kiss on the cheek and tried not to show how worried she had been. Oh, that birdie. here is a picture of them, just so you know how cute the are together.
