Deep thoughts...

For the last two days I've come home from work and slept for an hour and a half. I've been dragging at work and just barely getting there on time in the first place. To soothe me, Tim wrote me a song on our new piano---it goes like this:

I
wrote
you
a
song
to
day!

It's sung to the whole tone scale and repeated several times. It didn't really do the trick. So tomorrow, I'm riding my bike to work. I haven't run since the Fargo marathon weekend (2-3 weeks) and the lack of energy producing endorphins has nearly killed me. While I'm laboring over e-mails and administrative work, I've also been listening to Radio Lab again, and this short report really hit a nerve with me, particularly the struggle that Darwin had with his wife Emma about the afterlife. They both loved each other so much they wanted to be together FOREVER, but Darwin just wasn't quite sure what FOREVER was, although Emma had a very clear idea.

Please listen and enjoy.
