Well, the day. It started off so good! We had sort of a fake finance class, with this nice young thing telling us all about working at a private equity firm. ha! THAT won't be on the test! Then back home and watching about 25 of the 34 epidosdes of quarterlife. Oooooh. i love the subtle 90s undertones, and i love love love that the main character seems like a grown up version of angela from my so-called life. but what i really loved loved loved was the sexual tension between dylan (the leading lady) and eric, the over-bearing environment crusader. i was literally sitting in front of our laptop, head perched atop my hands looking at the computer screen practically waiting for eric to kiss ME. sooooo goooood.
oh yeah. and i skipped night class because i got my paper from last week back with a note telling me that using an apostrophe incorrectly was a "FATAL ERROR." what? what?
then i wrote and submitted two job applications! exciting. kaye is helping me scout jobs, so i'm getting more and more excited.
also...anonymous (non blogger peopl) can now leave comments. that means YOU mom, scotty and liz. here's a little treat from quarterlife.com. The description for this mini-episode was "tension builds between dylan and eric." um, could you get to the point more? a little more obvious please.

"Fatal Error"... is your grader a C++ compiler? Either that, or MBA work is MUCH more critical than I thought it was.
did i mention that this professor wrote out an 8 page syllabus for 4 classes?
Fatal error? Somebody takes grammar WAY too seriously. This coming from someone who actually talked in her sleep about complex sentences.
yay!!! i can comment! i've been waiting for this moment... :) i really wish i could be cool and have a blog like you and your siblings/siblings in-laws....but i waste SO MUCH TIME as it is on the internet. :( although, blogging is not REALLY a waste of time.
Hmmm.
Not sure how I feel about the quarterlife show. Mainly because when the commercial for it came on, Aaron nearly vomited in his mouth.
After seeing this clip I am not further convinced. Plus I am not fond of the whole talking into a camera diary thing.
But who knows I will prob end of watching it. Tis the fate of having only 20 channels.
oh, believe me. quarterlife is definitely as cheesy as girlicious on cwtv (new competition of marginally talented girls willing to dance in ridiculous costumes).
and after there was a over-the-counter pill popping storyline in the third episode, i was all "hello captain obvo!", but that's why i love it all the more.
it's the same reason i love "wife swap." it's such a ridiculous excuse for originality. ahhh.
also, i love how they completely changed everything on line to a visual representations. emails? non existent. everyone send complicated video emails now, silly! welcome to the future! i mean present!
