Tonight I got caught watching trash TV while working out in the basement of our apartment building. Oh no. Well, I continued to watch Super Nanny (the only nanny worth watching), and instead of say, looking for jobs, taking a shower, anything proactive, i decided to once again look at dogs for adoption in chicago.
my favorite part of this page is the bottom---scroll all the way down and check out the array of people holding their newly adopted dogs and cats. my favorite ones are the ones with smiley happy young couples who seem to be grinning with their teeth but speaking with their eyes: "this is our practice child! if it works, we're getting pregnant in four months! wait...how about six? or twelve? how about a couple years...yeah, we don't want a puppy AND a baby...can i have my ring back? thank you. i'll be out of the apartment in under 24 hours."
yay for puppies!

Kate and I look at puppies up for adoption in our area again, and then we sad 'cause we can't have one yet. BOOOO.
