Another e-mail to Kate.

oh my katie kate kate.

it's no fun to be alone! tim has been leaving me home alone lately as well (though not for days at a time) and i've gotten to the point where I think...

hmmm...what do i look at on the internet. okay. that, that that that , that...i don't have anything to do on the internet.

WHAT?! how is that even possible???

weird.

perhaps it's finally time to pick up the harry potter series---i guarantee that you will breeze through your days without even noticing them.

liz sent me a little package of burts bees stuff and i just took a shower after running (!) and put some lovely peppermint lotion on my feeteez. ahhhh. lovely.

hey! why don't you visit your mom? or go visit a friend when aaron is gone? or scout out some new places to run that don't start from your doorstep? those are things I'm always meaning to do.

half marathon this weekend! holy shizatz. i hope your body is staying in shape and it is a stress-free run, mentally and physically. i'm sure you'll rock it.

hey. you should come visit US the next time aaron is gone for more than 4 days. pull a claudia and drive across the country all by your lonesome! mmmm! think about that delicious mint chip ice cream just waiting for you down the street from my apartment...mmmmm...

mmmm. what else is new with the stine? well, we both went on a bit of a shopping spree this weekend---steve and barry's was having a clearance and almost everything in the store was $8.98. WHat? i know. i bought some jeans that fit wonderfully in the store and then stretched out after I wore them for 20 minutes. and i also got a cute striped shirt, a AWESOME stretchy collared short jacket, hmmmm. what else. i went to forever 21 (damn you, cheap fundamentalist owned corporations) and bought two identical dresses in grey and aqua-marine (i like to refer to it as "mermish").i also got a big wooden framed mirror at a thrift store and a couple cute shirts to wear under my blazers. yayyy!

tim just got back from another stay at gameworks. he smells like beer. ewww. i smell like peppermint feet.

i called my mom today because i just needed to hear her voice...something was telling me to give her a call. and you know what? she had JUST started unpacking her new bathroom vanity! she was so excited! i love mom. she and dad were so worried that the vanity was going to be cracked. she said dad and her were going to try and have the upstairs bathroom finished by may when you guys get there. still, so so jealous about you being there with dave and jess and mom and dad and liz and jost and leah and ben. ben the birthday stealer.

what else...i've started keeping track of google analytics stuff on my blog, and i get about 15 hits a day. but, um, probably about 9 of them are from me. oops. and i've decided to apply for another job at chicago public radio---corporate sales representative. mmm. hello MBA! putting you right at the top, my friend.

kates. don't like to think of you being lonely. time to invest in a cat. i would loan you birdie, but seeing as she is currently holding paws with mimi and giving me the "not without my lover!" look, it just can't happen because we couldn't go without at least one. birdie has started greeting me at the door when i come home (mimi likes to greet me by silently lying on top of my covers and possibly opening one eye a TINY bit).

oohhh! my burts bees cuticle cream is sooooo soothing. mmm.

keep running and staying calm! perhaps you can also practice your wifery skills; aka, having the martini ready RIGHT when the husband comes home, organizing your household chores into an easily manageable index card database (cough, cough LIZ! cough cough), and hmmmm. what else. perfecting pin curls?

okay. this email is going on the blog with some extra links. be prepared!

Okay, I don't use the index cards anymore. But that's because I memorized them.

Seriously, they are great. Kate, if you want info, I'll make a post on MY blog about it!

I agree with Ruth about Harry Potter!:)
