Just finished a finance midterm.
Number one, I did not go into arts administration to learn the net present value of leveraging a firm, but it is pretty interesting. In fact, if the professor would just fake us out with tests instead of actually giving them to us, so we could study but never have to prove ourselves, I would really like this class.
Unfortunately, that is not what happened. Instead I looked at the Arbitrage Pricing Theory questions, applied some algebra, tried to dabble in the Capital Asset Pricing Models, and floundered around in the Modigliani (I love exclaiming that name when I think I need it to solve the problem. Example: "required rate of return on that firm's equity...MODIGLIANI anyone?") and Miller II linear expressions.
See how I used all that language there? Almost like I know what I'm talking about? Well, I don't. Clearly. As I just typed to my mom who informed me about a new Food Network Program that is perfect for my entertaining needs (thoughtful), I just feel like laying on the floor (any room, hallway, street, doesn't really matter), neither smiling or frowning, and staring straight ahead, breathing deeply and evenly.
In. Out. In. Out. What? No laying on the floor in the computer lab? Oh...I'M SORRY.
