Tim and I had a big discussion at Pizza Hut buffet this weekend. Over what? The perception of difference between a need and a want. Tim needs new jeans, but I think he wants them because he has 13 pairs already stored in his bottom drawer (he claims 11 do not fit properly). I want curtains for the living room and an ethical Governor for Illinois, but I just hear the phrase "he put the shake down on Childrens Memorial Hospital." Sigh. Oh, Bugoyovitchersnitch.
Regardless, this is our much requested Christmas List.
Ruth.
1. Bike safety gear - lights for the bike, red blinky lights that can be attached to clothing, possibly even one of those yellow reflective vests.
2. Beulah CD.
3. Party and classic family games. Emphasis on classic.
4. Winter boots - water proof, but furry on the inside. Just like Tim's heart. Tim's heart is also a size 8.
5. Runner's World subscription.
Tim.
1. Boss ME50 Pedal (it's only about $295!)
2. Shure/SM58 mics (only about $50)
3. Braided guitar cables ($20, boo yah, it's getting cheaper)
4. Just Jazz Guitar Subscription
5. Downbeat Subscription
6. Shoes.
Now, we all know Tim has very specific style, and these shoes will have to score some serious style points to meet his satisfaction. Currently, he is wearing a pair of volleyball shoes. Just sayin.

You realize that by posting this to a blog (instead of, say, a mass email), gift givers can not claim "dibs" on a gift, which means you may wind up with 10 subscriptions to Runner's World and nothing else.
you realize that you are killing the spirit of christmas/i like gifts.
