Last night I made chicken soup using the stock I made before Christmas break. And. It. Was. Delicious.
For the soup, I added two chopped sweet potatoes, the bottom half of two leeks, and chopped up chicken to about 7 cups of stock. After boiling for a while, I added in some dumpling lumps---1 1/3 c. flour, 2 TBLSP baking powder, 1 Ttsp salt, 2 TBLSP vegetable oil, 2/3 c. milk. And, like 2 tsp of thyme which was like, 4 years old. So probably not a lot of tasty stuff left in those powdered leaves, but, hmm.
AND IT WAS AWESOME.
I'd post a picture, but my camera battery is dead and I can't find the charger.
WHO CARES! I didn't ruin the soup! Woot woot!
