Wooohooo. Shannon (my arts admin classmate and upper midwest buddy) killed the Flying Pig half marathon earlier today. It was Shannon's first big run and she really did great---i kinda yelled at her and was all "you can do it! you got it! it's in your legs! it's in your head! just use your arms!" cause the last 1.5 miles were rough. but at mile 9, shannon confirmed that we would train for the full marathon starting next fall.
Yay for shannon! She's such a good influence!
Also, my twin brother aaron KILLED MURDERED OBLITERATED the full marathon. He pulled in at three hours and six minutes and then crawled through the crowd to watch and cheer for kate. both he and kate had quite a collection of salt on their faces and spent the rest of the day on the couch. and then we had ice cream, and went to bed. good night!

Looks like you had a good day! The Fargo branch of Mebergs is very proud of all of you.
It was pouring rain here all weekend - hope it's better on the 19th for the Fargo Marathon! I'm going to...WATCH it, maybe!:) I'll leave the running to my obviously more athletic siblings.
